An Efficient Cross Platform Data Transfer System

Abstract

Nowadays, people have many operating systems
working on computers, like Windows, Linux and Mac. Meanwhile,
various kinds of network environments are provided to get and share
information, like traditional wired network, wireless network and
Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET). Cross Platform Data Transfer
(CPDT) System is proposed to allow users to share files in different
network environments and across different operating systems.
Furthermore, users running this system can automatically detect
each other on the local network without any configuration. The
system is also designed to be disruption tolerant to adapt to dynamic
network topologies.
